It's with a heavy heart that we announce Sunday Social's Grand Finale on Sunday, November 19. After an incredible five-year journey, we're bidding a bittersweet farewell to our beloved drag, burlesque, and variety revue hosted by Chamilla Foxx. In these five years, Chamilla, DJ RONS and others have showcased diverse talents and upheld inclusivity, making Sunday Social a beacon of diversity and fabulousness since its inception in 2018.
While the show has gained immense popularity, this year has presented many challenges. Rising inflation, increasing rents and interest rates, and the resumption of student loan payments have impacted our audience, resulting in lower attendance and reduced spending. Despite the unwavering love and support from our loyal fans, the sales have not been sufficient to sustain the talented performers who deserve a fair rate.
We sincerely hope that all of you will join us over the coming weeks to show Chamilla Foxx & Company just how much we appreciate the magic they have brought into our space over the past five years. Let’s come together to celebrate the joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories that Sunday Social has gifted us. Moreover, let us continue to support the shows, performers, and venues across our city and country that keep our communities strong and vibrant.
