Join us for a free, live music performance as singer-songwriter Nire Nah and pianist-composer James Allen present Filly’s Nest—an indie folk concept album-in-development, at Meeting House Tavern on Wednesday, March 8th starting at 8pm. The title is Nire’s etymological response to mare’s nest, a term of yore used to describe an illusory discovery, false prophecy, or unrealized expectation. This collection of songs wanders the warring themes of hope and disappointment with cautious optimism, seeking a mindful middle ground between the impossible and the inevitable.
